The Dammusi
Believing that there is a true difference between various ways of experiencing vacations, the Borgo caters to travelers (as opposed to tourists who tie their vacation activities to mobility) who wish to experience their stay as a retreat, a place of rest and relaxation. In other words, in full harmony with the island, it is a classic destination for a real "holiday," surrounded by the most intense colors and scents of the Mediterranean and the dazzling African light.
The Dammusi, nestled on the magical cliffs of Cala Creta, facing the rising sun and moon, offer a unique and distinctive place to temporarily relocate one's sedentary lifestyle without giving up excursions into the real, noisy, chaotic, and touristy world that unfolds to the west.
An Elegant Residence
Overlooking the Sea of Lampedusa
Each Dammuso is a tastefully and functionally furnished room, featuring a covered patio with a cane pergola and a private garden. The interiors remain cool thanks to the dome and dry-stone walls and include two beds with the option of adding a third bed, bathroom with shower, ceiling fan, radio, and refrigerator. There are 16 recently renovated "comfort" dammusi and 7 "standard" dammusi available.
